VinE provides free tutoring services to PK-12 students in all content areas. Tutors work with students individually, in small groups, and in the full classroom. Most tutoring occurs during the school day, although VinE also offers tutoring outside of school hours. VinE’s goals are to improve student learning and to increase student self-confidence and classroom engagement.

VinE tutors prioritize establishing and nurturing strong student-tutor relationships. Trusting relationships create opportunities for students to feel safe asking questions, to reveal uncertainties in their understanding of the content, and to receive guidance from the tutor. Strong, trusting relationships drive learning, boost self-confidence, and increase classroom engagement.
